Aurith

News at a trading pace.

Eighty sources across five regions, read continuously, around the clock. Every item understood and written up in full, in your language, with the publisher credited. Delivered while it is still worth having.

Median, publication to held

Measured over every item collected, not estimated. Half arrive faster than this. The figure moves, and the number above is the one from the last measurement rather than the best one ever seen.

Specimen

One item, as it is delivered.

Aurith writes the article. The publisher is named at the foot of it and their text is never reproduced. Choose a language and it is written again.

Refinery outage takes a Gulf Coast crude unit offline

An unplanned outage has taken the main crude unit at a US Gulf Coast refinery offline. The operator has not given a restart date.

Crude processing on the Gulf Coast had been running above its five-year seasonal average for three consecutive weeks before the shutdown.

The pipeline

What happens between a publisher and you.

t = 0
A publisher releases an item

Eighty sources, each polled on its own clock — sixty seconds for the ones that matter most, an hour for the ones that do not.

Aurith is holding it

This is the measured figure, and the poll interval is most of it. Nothing about the number is a promise; it is what the last measurement found.

It is read and written up

A full article in Aurith's own words, not a headline and not a link. The publisher is credited on the item.

Terms of the thing

What you get, and what is never for sale.

Included

  • The full article Written by Aurith about the news. Not a headline, not a summary of someone else's paragraph, and not a link for you to go and fetch.
  • Twelve languages English, French, Spanish, Punjabi and Hindi at launch. Seven more to follow.
  • The publisher, credited Named on every item, with the time they released it.
  • Both clocks When the publisher released it and when Aurith held it, so you can measure us rather than take the figure above on trust.
  • Only the fields you want Almost everything is selectable. Ask for four fields and four is what crosses the wire.

Never sold, at any price

  • What Aurith thinks the news will do Direction, conviction and reasoning belong to the trading system and are not serialised into any response. This is not a tier you can reach; there is no tier.
  • The publisher's own text Credited, never reproduced. If you want their words, they are the ones to ask.
  • Anything about a person This is a financial news feed. It holds no personal data about anyone reading it beyond what is needed to run the account.
Coverage

Eighty sources, and the reason for each one.

Central banks, statistical agencies, regulators, exchanges and the financial press. Many of them stamp their items with the moment of release, which is what makes a latency figure meaningful at all.

Payment is taken by Stripe, on Stripe's own page. No card number, address or payment method is ever held by Aurith. Your key appears once, immediately after you pay — save it then, because only a hash of it is kept and it cannot be sent to you again.

Cancel whenever you like, from the same key: GET /v1/portal hands back a Stripe link for the card, the invoices and the cancellation. There is no notice period and no telephone call.
